I got my RST with Mick from Maylands.

The information was delivered at a steady pace and was relaxed and instruction were clear.

If I had any questions I was able to ask and not feel like a dummy.

The practical was fun. Actually enjoyable and not stressful. There was smiling faces onboard and a lot of friendly banter and encouragement.

I recommend Mick to anyone with a desire to learn how to skipper a boat safely and also to have the basic tools to build on.

Boating can be serious business and I don’t believe receiving a 1 hour ticket is wise or ethical.

I couldn’t recommend Mike enough, what a great teacher and such a nice guy. I did the Gold course as I had never driven a boat before but passed first time, I had revised the workbook that I received which is essential so I was confident before the theory exam. I was nervous for the practical because I was a complete beginner but Mike put me at ease, was great at explaining everything to me and that made it easier for me to pick it up. I would recommend Sea Safe to anyone, thanks a lot for your time Mike.
