I couldn’t recommend Mike enough, what a great teacher and such a nice guy. I did the Gold course as I had never driven a boat before but passed first time, I had revised the workbook that I received which is essential so I was confident before the theory exam. I was nervous for the practical because I was a complete beginner but Mike put me at ease, was great at explaining everything to me and that made it easier for me to pick it up. I would recommend Sea Safe to anyone, thanks a lot for your time Mike.

Mike communicated clearly from the moment I registered and was extremely thorough in making sure the theory and knowledge was understood. He made the practical simple and easy to understand, with ample demonstration and practice time. His general humour and demeanour during the day lessened the nerves too. A thorough revision of the rules then demonstration and practice of the boat handling skills ensured every one had the best possible chance to gain their Skippers Ticket.
